News from the December and January Minutes

From the December 13, 2006 meeting: The May dinner was scheduled for May 15th a Tuesday so as to not conflict with graduation at SCCC. It was discussed that we need to have at least 2 membership wide meetings, not including the May Dinner.

From the January 10, 2006 meeting: The location of the Trico Community Room was discussed for a possible training location for March and April general membership meetings and trainings.

The theme for the Fun Fair was to be "It's All About the KIDS" on the flyer. It was suggested that we make a Community Partner Directory for the businesses participating.

Getting Ready for the Fun Fair

A flyer will be coming to your center very soon with the Fun Fair sign up pamphlet. This year's theme is "It's all about the Kids". Last year we estimate that around 500 people came to the Fun Fair. Providers are able to post a 2'x3' sign at their table advertising their center and they can hand out business cards or pamphlets.

This year we are putting a provider directory together. All centers who participate can have a business card printed in our provider directory. This directory will be in the bag that each child receives when they come to the Fun Fair. Providers who can not attend can pay $25.00 to have their business card included in the directory.
